1 of 50 numb. copies of the English edition, signed by Constant and S. Vinkenoog in publisher's imprint. - Accompanying text by Vinkenoog, titled Preamble to a new world ; typography also by Constant. This rare series of prints - one of the graphic main works by the Cobra artist - was made for the Galerie d'Eendt in spring 1963, the mostly double page lithographs were printed in the Studio P. Clement on light creme paper (1 l. on slightly different laid paper); size of paper ca. 40 : 75 cm, publisher's imprint in black on blue cardboard. The series was released simultaneously in a German and a Dutch edition. - Constant's "Project of establishing a New-Babylon, as an object of mass creativity, aims at a transition of the entire cultural life, from an individualistic to a mass culture."
