"complete collection of Erasmus' letters. All the earlier collections were reprinted in it, and a few letters added, together with some prefaces and other printed matter, amounting to the total of 1231 pieces, divided into 28 books" (Gilhofer & Ranschburg cat. 59). - Stained in places and with traces of damp almost all the way through, the first 30 ll. softened by damp in lower right corner. Binding stronger stained.
