Ernest Maindron published another monography on foreign posters in 1896-97, also published by Boudet & Tallandier in Paris; "Beaux et importants ouvrages abondamment illustrés." (Carteret) This work contains, besides the splendid and extremely decorative lithographs, a comprehensive text and a 900 number comprising register of Jules Cheret (L'oeuvre murale de Jules Cheret) . Broad-margined print on creme wove paper, title in red and black. - Endpaper and half title with defective corner, binding loosened, 2 plates detached. Binding scraped. All in all clean copy with excellent color reproductions of the posters.
