5 vols. of the important historical atlas in 7 vols., all vols. from the last edition. 4 (of 5) engr. frontsp., 5 engr. title vignettes, 1 engr. text vignette and 215 copperplates, mostly doublepage or folding. Among them the rare and large four-piece chart of America. Contemp. calf with gilt spines and small gilt armorial centrepiece. - Partly some foxing in the margin, vol. II with slight waterstaining in upper margin, 8 additional plates and 1 frontisp. (water-)stained, the folding plates partly with slight damages to folds (incl. the world map, the continents and the large map of America), about 4 plates with marginal tears. Bindings scraped, joints and extremities of spine partly torn. Overall a nice copy.
