"Cette estimable édition est la première dans laquelle Robert Estienne ait fait usage des son bel italique, exécuté à l'imitation de celui d'Alde" (Renouard). - Satzspiegel und Kolumnentitel alt regliert. - Wenige Bll. etw. fleckig, vereinz. mit alten Unterstreichungen, Titel mit gelöschten Besitzvermerken. Einbd. gering bestoßen, Außengelenk mit kl. Einriß. Gutes Exemplar.
Estiennes first print in Aldus-style. With woodcut printer's device on title. 18th cent. calf with gilt spine and label. - Few leaves slightly stained, few underlinings, erased ownership entries to title. Binding slightly bumped, joint with small tear. Good copy.
