Läsur im Bundsteg; Vorsätze erneuert. Rücken tlw. restauriert. Gut erhaltene und vollständige Exemplare, das erste mit allen beweglichen Teilen.

With the famous folding truncated cordiform woodcut world map, taken from a new woodblock (Shirley 131) which was used for this edition only, and numerous text woodcuts, 4 with volvelles. - II: First edition by Birckmann. With numerous schemat. text woodcuts. - 18th cent. calf (spine partly restored). - Title of I and world map newly bound in; slight waterstaining at end, last 3 leaves with small defective spots in the inner margin (rebacked). Fine copy with contemp. ownership inscription and some small marginalia by this hand.
