• Masterly composed large-size townscape in vernal colors.
• Shown in the 1976 solo show at the Brücke-Museum, Berlin.
• In 1940 Erich Heckel and his wife Sidi visited Salzburg for the very first time.
• Erich Heckel, along with Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Karl Schmidt-Rottluff and Fritz Bleyl, was among the founding members of the expressionist artist group "Brücke"
.
