• Georg Karl Pfahler was one of the first European representatives of Hard Edge Painting
• He participated in the significant exhibition "Signale" in Basel in 1965
• In 1970 Pfahler showed works along with Thomas Lenk, Heinz Mack and Günther Uecker at the German pavilion at Biennale di Venezia
• A painting with a balanced composition of color fields
• In his Color Space Objects Georg Karl Pfahler examines the relations between form, color and space
