This figure shows the artist's first born son Gustav Wilhelm Lehmbruck, born March 11, 1909.
Posthumous cast. Cast by order of Maria Lehmbruck, Bad Reichenhall. [JS].

• From the collection of the Wuppertal merchant and collector Paul Roh, a close friend of Georg Kolbe and the Lehmbruck family
• Lehmbruck is one of the most important German sculptors of the 20th century. His works are in possession of many public collections.
