Bronze with dark brown patina.
Rudloff 649. Underside with artist's signet, number and foundry mark "Guss Barth Berlin". From an edition of 10 copies. Height: 19.7 cm (7.7 in).
Just as it is the case with Gerhard Marck's earliest bronze from 1907, this work also shows a hawk. [EL].
This is the first time in 30 years that a copy of this work is offered on the auction market.

PROVENANCE: Private collection North Rhine-Westphalia (obtained directly from the artist, since in possession of the family).
