Acrylic, color chalks and India ink over etching.
Lower center signed, dated and decicated. On wove paper by Hahnemühle (with watermark). 78 x 53 cm (30.7 x 20.8 in), the full sheet.
Right margin and verso with a text written by the artist and a quote from Paul Éluard as title. Verso once more signed, dated, titled and with direction arrow.
Overpainted trial proof of the etching "Caspar I", released by the 'Schleswig-Holsteinische Kunstverein' as annual bonus on occasion of a Stöhrer exhibition at the Kiel Kunsthalle in 1990. (Cf. Meyer zu Eissen/Dethloff 1990.14) [CB].
