Signed, titled and inscribed "Probedruck" as well as dated and inscribed (2) by a hand other than that of the artist. Etching signed, monogrammed in plate and titled by a hand other than that of the artist. On delicate Japon (3) and wove paper. Up to 28.3 x 40 cm (11.1 x 15.7 in). Sheet: up to 36 x 46,5 cm (14,2 x 18,3 in).
The woodcut "Reigen" was released as part of the portfolio with 12 original graphic sheets by various artists, published in 1926 for "Ludwig Volkmann" (on occasion of his 25th anniversary as chairman of the 'Deutsche Buchgewerbeverein'), Leipzig, 63red year, 1926, issue 1 (cf. Söhn HDO 733-4). [CB].
