Jean Dufy is most of all known for his landscapes and city motifs. However, during the 1920s and 30s still lives counted among his preferred themes. This 'Nature Morte' is a wonderful example of how he modeled the motif of just a few details in intense colors with a broad stroke of the brush and with the very special lighting atmosphere that made Jean Dufy so famous.
