Two photographs that Richter shot from a plane window on a journey to Milan in 1968. He mounted them so that the upper motif was rotated by 180°, thus creating a new motif. This graphic was used as a contribution to the portfolio of works by all the teachers then active at the 'Hochschule für Bildende Künste', Hamburg 1970. Published by Griffelkunst-Vereinigung Hamburg-Langenhorn e.V. [DB].
This sheet will be included into the forthcoming revision of the catalog raisonné prepared by Mr. Butin and to be released in 2013.
