Monogrammed and dated lower right. Signed and inscribed "Düsseldorf 79" on an adhesive label on verso of the frame. 23 x 16,5 cm (9 x 6,4 in).
For this work Jirí Kolár used a reproduction print of Raffael's portrait of Agnolo Doni. Through folding, creasing and squeezing Kolár added his own style to the famous painting by the Italian Renaissance artist and creates an entirely new work. [KH].
