"Famous collectors and patrons of modern art have paid attention to the graphic art by Laage from an early point on. Besides Schiefler in Hamburg, it was particularly Reinhart in Winterthur, Sonderegger, and also Stinnes. Lichtwark also supported him. The graphic collections of public galleries and museums have works by him in their possession, for instance in Hamburg, Stutttgart, Karlsruhe, Basel, Munich, Zurich, Winterthur."
