• Lüpertz is one of the most important German representatives of New Figuration.
• Early works from the 1970s and 1980s are the artist's most sought-after paintings on the international auction market.
• His works are in major international collections, including the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Tate Gallery in London, and the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
