• Large-format watercolor of a striking and intense palette.
• The dark and mysterious color scheme masterfully emphasizes the industrial setting and the miners.
• Conrad Felixmüller is one of the most important representatives of the second generation of German Expressionism.
• The early 1920s are considered the most mature phase of the socio-critical Expressionist.
