Unbeschnittenes Exemplar, die Tafeln auf Whatman paper (Wasserzeichen datiert 1815).

EINBAND: Roter Maroquineinband der Zeit mit Rückenvergoldung, Deckel mit zweifachem Rahmen aus 3- und 4-fachen Fileten mit floralen Eckstücken, sowie floraler Steh- und Innenkantenvergoldung und Kopfgoldschnitt. 28 : 20 cm. - ILLUSTRATION: Mit 76 kolorierten Aquatinta-Tafeln (5 gefaltet). - KOLLATION: 4 Bll., 159 S., 1 w. Bl. - ZUSTAND: Leicht gebräunt, Tafeln tlw. mit leichtem Abklatsch, erste Tafel tlw. gelöst. Kanten leicht beschabt. Insgesamt sauberes Exemplar in einem dekorativen Einband der Zeit. - PROVENIENZ: Norddeutsche Privatsammlung.

Contemp. red morocco with rich gilt decoration on spine and boards, floral gilt decoration on inner edges, top edge also gilt. - Somewhat tanned, the plates partly with offset, 1 plate partly detached, but overall clean copy in a decorative contemp. binding. Edges slightly rubed. - Northern German private collection.(R)
