• Antes' “Head-Footer” motif has undergone constant change since its development in the early 1960s , forming a central theme in the artist’s paintings and sculptures.
• With its silhouette-like flatness and beautiful natural patina, the large “Figure 1000” is a particularly impressive testament to the artist's archaic visual language.
• Part of a private collection in Hesse for 35 years.

Nice overall impression. Lively, intense, reddish-brown rust patina with typical traces of oxidation and weathering due to the material. In particular, there are some fine signs of rubbing on one side. Isolated tiny traces of paint.
