10 Orig.-Aquatinta-Radierungen aus Los Caprichos . 1881-1886. Plattenformat 21,5 : 15 cm. Blattgröße 30,8-32 : 22,5 cm.
Aus der berühmten satirischen Folge über die Narrheit und Eitelkeit der Menschen.
Vermutlich aus der 5. Auflage, die 1881-1886 herausgegeben wurde, mit den Kennzeichen wie bei Harris beschrieben. Druck von der abgeschrägten Platte auf Vélinpapier, ursprünglich vermutlich am Oberrand eingebunden und etwas unregelmäßig ausgeschnitten. - Vorhanden: P. 8 Que se la Llevaron! (Harris 43). - P. 10 El amor y muerte (H. 45). - P. 24 Nohubo remedio (H. 59). - P. 38 Brabisimo! (H. 73). - P. 41 Ni mas ni menos (H. 41). - P. 50 Los chincillas (H. 85). - P. 55 Hasta la muerte (H. 90). - P. 57 La filiacion (H. 92). - P. 61 Volaverunt (H. 96). - P. 78 Despacha, que dispiertan (H. 113).
- ZUSTAND: 5 Taf. mit vereinz. kl. Stockflecken, Tafeln am Oberrand unregelmäßig beschnitten, rechte Ecke mit schwacher Stoßspur, 2 Taf. mit leichten Knickspuren am rechten Rand. Insgesamt gut erhalten.
From the famous satirical series on human folly and vanity. 10 original aquatint etchings from Los Caprichos. Probably from the fifth edition 1881-1886. Plate size 21.5 : 15 cm. Sheet size 30.8-32 : 22.5 cm. - 5 plates with occasional small foxing, plates irregularly trimmed along the upper margin, right corner with faint bump marks, 2 plates with slight creasing along the right margin. Altogether fine copies.
