Mixed media. Gouache, India ink, varnish and metal coating on cardboard. Inscribed "Metallgetrieben" by hand on the reverse.
Signed and dated lower left. 99 x 69 cm (38.9 x 27.1 in).

• As a representative of the idea of the Gesamtkunstwerk, Strathmann was a member of the German Werkbund from 1912/13.
