• Vibrant evening scenes on the Danish coast are among Wang's most successful motifs.
• He stages the spectacle of nature in rich contrast, using the prismatic spectrum of light, water, and air.
• During his studies at the Free Art School in Copenhagen from 1886 to 1889, he was significantly influenced by the greatest Danish impressionist, Peder Severin Krøyer.
