The tour is divided into three sections: the first from the river's source to Oxford; the second from Oxford to London; and the third from London to where it joins the English Channel. First edition. With 2 hand-colored engr. vignettes (1 on title), 24 hand-colored aquatint plates and 1 folding engr. map. Contemp. red half morocco with rich gilt spine and double gilt fillets and top edge gilt. 35.5 : 23 cm. - Slightly browned, text with offsetting on plates. Binding slightly rubbed.
