• From the 1960s onwards, he showcased his art at the 31st Venice Biennale, documenta III (1964) and documenta 6 (1977).
• Avramidis' works are equally committed to figuration and abstraction; his influences include luminaries such as Constantin Brancusi and Wilhelm Lehmbruck.
• Avramidis is one of the most important Austrian sculptors of the 20th century, the Leopold Museum in Vienna honored him with a major exhibition in 2017.
