• The work is a document of the revival of the watercolor in 1933.
• After stays in Jershöft, Schmidt-Rottluff discovered the region around the Pomeranian Lake Leba as a new source of inspiration.
• A landscape in a strikingly new and clear expression.
• The yellow haystacks are a key motif in his creation.
The work is documented in the archive of the Karl and Emy Schmidt-Rottluff Foundation, Berlin.
