• For the first time offered on the international auction market (artprice.com).
• Segal was one of the few artists that pursued the path of Pointillism and Divisionism in Germany, translating it into their very own langage.
• By applying the principle of prismatic decomposition, Segal takes light and colors to their highest intensity.
• The years of 1910/11 were characterized by a formative stay in Paris.
• Segal is considered a key figure of the avant-garde, he participated in exhibitions of the Berlin Secession and the New Secession, at Herwarth Walden's pioneering gallery "Der Sturm", the Zürich 'Cabaret Voltaire' and the November Group.
• Works by Arthur Segal are at, among others, the Berlinische Galerie, Tate Modern, London and the Museum of Modern Art, New York .
