• From a very important phase of the "Disc Picture" period during which Nay contrasted fields of warm and cold colors with deep black and foggy grayish discs.
• Other watercolors from this year are in possession of, among others, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Kunsthalle Bremen, the Museum Ludwig in Cologne, athe State Graphic Collection Munich and the Leopold-Hoesch-Museum & Papiermuseum in Düren.
