• The Praterinsel motif occupies an important position in the artist's late creative period in Munich.
• Particularly intimate, personal view that reveals Dillis' view and location on his picturesque walks.
• With his landscape studies in oil, Dillis is one of the first important exponents of plein-air painting and a pioneer in making a new approach to landscape painting.
