• For his work Otto Piene adapt's Dürer's dream to make his story subject to another force of nature: fire.
• The element fire, which leaves traces on the image carrier, is of fundamental significance for the overall artistic function in Piene's work.
• A typical, outstandingly balanced fire picture from the early days of 'ZERO'.

Collection Haniel, Duisburg (acquired from aforementioned in 2008).
