Verso of the canvas signed and dated. Verso of the stretcher inscribed with a partly erroneous work number by a hand other than that of the artist. 95 x 70.5 cm (37.4 x 27.7 in).
Up until January 10, 2021 the artist shows monumental works in the grand exhibition "It Wasn't Us" at Hamburger Bahnhof, Museum für Gegenwart, Berlin.
• In private ownership in Berlin since it was made.
• In the same year Katharina Grosse sprayed her first mural (untitled, at that time at Projektraum of Kunsthalle Bern).
The work is registered in the catalog raisonné with the inventory number "KG/M 1998_1004 S". We are grateful to the Studio Katharina Grosse, Berlin, for the kind support in cataloging this lot.
