• Dedicated to the friend and publisher Tériade
• Tériade (actually Efstratos Eleftheriades) commisioned Chagall with the cycle Daphnis and Chloe
• Marvelous combination of a soft representation and strong colors
• From the important year 1952.
Accompanied with a certificate by the Comité Marc Chagall from 7 October 2005.
