Verso with a figure scene in oil (detail). The same year the oil painting offered here was made the watercolor "Sommer (Bulgarien)" (see Claesges 39-009) also came into existence. [CH].
PROVENANCE: Galerie Günther Franke, Munich (verso of the stretcher with a typographically inscribed gallery label).
Private collection Southern Germany (acquired from aforementioned in 1955).
