Wöbkemeier 303. Signed, dated and inscribed "II H Glasbild" in lower left. On thin board. 21 x 14.3 cm (8.2 x 5.6 in). Board: 30 x 21 cm (11,8 x 8,2 in).
Draft for the broken glass picture "26 II - Figuration in Weiß auf Schwarz mit zwei roten Quadraten" (Wöbkemeier 304), after which the Edition Hoffmann, Friedberg released a silkscreen for a plexiglass multipe in 1972. Walter Dexel commissioned this multiple shortly before his death and did not live to see its completion. [EH].
