Monogrammed and dated in lower right. On light creme wove paper, with perforated edge at the top. Firmly laid on a dark backing board. 29.4 x 31.7 cm (11.5 x 12.4 in), size of sheet. Backing board: 36 x 38,3 cm (14,2 x 15,1 in).
Above the image inscribed in brown ink with dimensions and calculations for the painting of the same name which we offer in our Evening Sale on June 7. [CH].
The drawing will be included into catalog raisonné with the number SW 7.3.22. We are grateful to Mr Rainer Pfefferkorn, Otto Dix Foundation, for his kind support in cataloging this lot.
