Each with the edition stamp "Originaldruck Bestätigung des Herausgebers EDITION BLOCK", signed by the publisher, on verso, as well as with another stamp with hand-written information on the edition. One of 37 copies aside from the edition of 80. On wove paper. Size of sheet: each 29.5 x 21 cm (11.6 x 8.2 in).
Seemingly trivial and meaningless things become subjects of Polke's art. Several common objects form a new type of "Palmtree". What appears to be preconceived is sensed reality. Polke reveals a mysterious character the objects seem to have. He is the medium that "Higher Beings Ordain". With his pictorial compositions he questions existing organizing principles and adds new content to traditional empty phrases. In many cases the so-called coincidence comes to his aid. Perhaps it is not all that coincidental in the end. [EH].

- Polke ennobled the offset and brought it on par with original graphic works.
