Stein 386 (there with different indication of place of signature). Signed in lower right. 56.7 x 76.5 cm (22.3 x 30.1 in).
Made on the study trip to Viktring in 1908, where Koester made many landscape impressions with trees, ponds and creeks. The artist's is most interested in how the overgrown edge of the pond reflects on the water (cf. Stein 372-391). [FS].
