The artist presumably leaves his light gray signature, which is visible only in sided light, recede behind the impression of nature on purpose. According to the catalog raisonné from the group of works from Klausen in South Tyrol and Lake Constance. [FS].

Private collection North Rhine-Westphalia (inherited by present owner from the aforementioned).
