Cast by art foundry Richard Barth, Rinteln 1991.
The impressively large sculpture goes back to graphic drafts from around 1920/21. This work is based on a plastic draft and a smaller model. [JS].
Very rare. This is the first time that a cast of the large version is offered on the international auction market (source: www.artprice.com).
