Lower right monogrammed. On slightly structured, brownish machine-made laid paper. 50 x 35.5 cm (19.6 x 13.9 in) , size of sheet.
Verso with a pencil study of a seated figure (presumably mid 1940s). [JS].
The work is listed inthe unpublished catalog raisonné of watercolors and drawings and will be included into a future publication. We are grateful to the Karl Hofer Archive, Cologne, for the kind support in cataloging this lot.
