Karte von Nord- und Südamerika, ergänzt um zwei kleine Darstellungen von Grönland und der Südpolarregion.
Wie hier ohne die vier Bildleisten im Rand erstmals 1631 erschienen, vorliegendes Exemplar stammt aus der wenig späteren französischen Ausgabe des Appendix von 1633. "After Jodocus Hondius' death in 1629 .. Henricus removed the map's decorative borders to facilitate easy fitting into his atlas, and replaced his brother's imprint with that of his own, adding a date of 1631. Its first appearance in a regular atlas was not until L'Appendice , 1633."
ZUSTAND: Leicht gebräunt, entlang der Mittelfalte mit wenigen zusätzlichen Falten, 2 kleine Wurmlöcher im unt. weißen Rand.

From "L'Appendice" (1633). - Slightly tanned, with few creases in the area of the centrefold, and 2 small wormholes in the bottom white margin.
