Presumably Honisch 912. Lower right signed and dated. Unique piece. 41 x 50 x 2.5 cm (16.1 x 19.6 x 0.9 in).
Mack's early light wings and light reliefs count among the internationally most sought-after kinetic creations by the acclaimed ZERO artist. This work was part of the legendary Air Art Salon on a flight from Frankfurt to Catania in 1968.
The work is sold with a certificate from the studio Heinz Mack, Mönchengladbach.
PROVENANCE: Galerie Ursula Lichter, Frankfurt a. M. (1968/69, verso with barely legible stamp).
Elke von Brentano (acquired from aforementioned in 1969, in possession until presumably 2011).
EXHIBITION: Air Art Salon, Frankfurt-Catania, Galerie Ursula Lichter, Frankfurt a. M. August 1968, presumably no. 17 (verso with inscription and with a label barely legibly inscribed with the number).
