PROVENANCE: Elly Koehler (present from Dr. Hans Konrad Roethel, formerly director of the 'Städtische Galerie im Lenbachhaus' Munich and the Gabriele Münter- and Johannes Eichner-Foundation. Elly Koehler was the wife of Bernhard Koehler jun., son of the renown collector and patron Bernhard Koehler, she donated the "Blauer Reiter" inventory from the estate to the Munich Lenbachhaus in 1965).
