Eberle 1929/2. Upper right signed. On an adhesive label inscribed "Max Liebermann Porträt des Malers und Kunstschriftstellers Erich Hancke gemalt 1929" by a hand other than that of the artist. 50 x 39.5 cm (19.6 x 15.5 in).
After Max Liebermann's death Erich Hancke organized the estate together with the widow.
