Multiple. Fireclayed sherd in ochre, partly scratched, with iron ring. Mounted on iron plinth.
Catalog raisonnée of ceramics 1962-1988, no. 170 (catalog raisonneé no. 42/71). With scratched signature and number. With beaten number "20" under stand. Copy from an edition of 25. 32 x 28.5 x 6 cm (12.5 x 11.2 x 2.3 in).
Horst Antes gave a copy of this figure to everybody who contributed to the costs of making for the catalog "Antes Bilder 1965-1971" for the exhibition at the Staatliche Kunsthalle Baden-Baden in 1971. The figure was made at Horst Kerstan's workshop in Kandern.
PROVENANCE: Galerie Gimpel Fils, London (with label on stand).
