Each signed, dated, numbered and typographically inscribed on verso. From an edition of 100 copies. Up to ca. 23.1 x 16.8 x 2.1 cm (9 x 6.6 x 0.8 in).
"For the magazine 'Texte zur Kunst' Günther Förg made two lead pictures with the magazine's dimensions. The margins are executedin ocherand green. The artist stated that the multiple references a work from 1978 and that the lead pictures can be displayed individually, as pairs or in arrangements of three or four. Förg's works from these years address concepts of what is characteristic of German artists: heavy painted lead pictures, large and bulky bronze reliefs and expressive bronze heads that show traces from the process of making, that's the mark his art has left."
