Vollersroda is the name of a village near Weimar in Thuringia. Feiniger captured its church not only in this energetic woodcut, but also in two paintings (cf. Hess 206 and 372). Proofs of this print are in possession of, among others, the Kupferstichkabinett Berlin and the Victoria & Albert Museums, London.
