Focillon 25. Hind 2. Robison 43 V (of VI). Signed, Roman numbered and inscribed in plate. Excellent fine impressiopn on laid paper with watermark Robison 93, with broad margin around platemark and normal centerfold. 56 x 41,5 cm (22 x 16,3 in). Sheet: 75,8 x 54,3 cm (29,8 x 21,4 in).
This sheet has only been part of the series as of the second edition, which Piranesi published himself and increased it from fourteen to sixteen sheets and gave it a new title. The first volume of this second edition was published in 1761. [CB].
