PROVENANCE: Private collection Northern Germany.
While he received numerous scholarships as master student, Martin Eder's work soon received wide both national and international recognition, his paintings were shown in spectacular solo shows, e.g. at Kunstverein Potsdam (2003), the New York Marianne Boesky Gallery (2006) and the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden (2009). Currently, his works are on display in the exhibition "Painting forever! Martin Eder, Michael Kunze, Anselm Reyle, Thomas Scheibitz", at Neue Nationalgalerie Berlin from September to November, 2013.
