Bloch 1. Geiser/Baer II/2 c (of 2 c). With mirror-inverted inscription "Biffé 31. Oct. 1913" in plate. One of the ca. 10 first impressions from the crossed plate. On firm creme wove paper by Van Gelder Zonen (with watermark). 46,3 x 37,6 cm (18,2 x 14,8 in). Sheet: 60 x 50 cm (23,6 x 19,7 in).
Printed by Fort, Paris 1913. Lines of crossing still with a lot of burr. Later impressions after 1913 on different types of paper (Fabriano). [DB].
PROVENANCE: Private collection Baden-Württemberg (with stamp on verso, not in Lugt).
